My heart breaks and rejoices when I think of my dogs. The time is just too short for being with them. I can't express all the joy, love, companionship and so much more that they give to us each day. My grief with each dog's passing does not seem to lessen. I remember each and every one of them with great longing. This was a beautiful tribute to Max. Thank you Shawn.

Now imagine those dogs or animals looking up at humans that are evil and abuse them. I wish all dogs had love.

I am a 75 year old man and my golden is 7 years old. We humans are like dragons and to dogs we appear to live forever. Now my body is falling apart and I am close to my last decade. I pray I am able to have a dog in my life until my final time but I also do not want a dog to lose me. Each of my dogs that have passed have caused me great pain but I joyfully endure it for the gifts they give. I will work as hard as i can to be worthy of my last few years of being a companion to a dog.

Wonderful film! Tear-jerker! I remember my first dog as a child. Then the amazing dog with whom i shared 15 years. After 10 years now in my 70's I have a rescue dog who is my best friend, running buddy and who tolerates my need to talk about everything. This film is just so true.

As the owner of two rescue dogs currently and someone who has owned 5 dogs in total I can't explain the joy that a dog brings into your life. And your family. It's the most precious underatted experience you can truly have. A dog wants nothing from you apart from your love and friendship. People just see the hair,mess and poo that a dog leaves. Once you've owned a dog you would understand. They know when your sad,upset they will always welcome you with a waggy tail!!! One of my dogs was an abused puppy factory dog. Scared of her own shadow. I rescued her because if I didn't she would of been put to sleep. I knew nothing about her. But I took a risk on her to save her life. It turns out she has saved my life in many other ways. Thank you to God for creating this amazing companion ❤
